2026
Solar Power is a self-initiated LED campaign and visual diary created for SEONGHYEON of CORTIS in Ho Chi Minh City. Drawing around 1,000 on-site attendees and reaching hundreds of thousands across social media, the project blends art direction, graphic design, editorial typography, and music curation to explore resilience and quiet optimism. Inspired by Lorde's Solar Power and personal moments of navigating uncertainty, the campaign transforms personal reflection into a public visual message about finding light and sharing encouragement.

The visual identity builds on distinct cultural references: a deep blue palette and layout system paying homage to my favorite trip-hop album, Breath from Another by Esthero; recurring wind turbine motifs inspired by Ecco2k’s Peroxide music video representing perseverance; and a custom "SOLAR" wordmark built from the geometric grid of solar panels. Extending the installation into a physical experience, a limited run of 30 custom gift sets was created for attendees—each containing a 13-track concept CD reflecting the project's sonic foundation, alongside two A5 posters and three photocards, crafted to be treasured by those who caught a piece of the sunlight it radiates.

Digital rollout that generated hundreds of thousands of interactions across Instagram and Threads.
This compilation serves as the sonic and emotional backbone of Solar Power. Rooted predominantly in trip-hop—a genre defined by its moody textures and layered atmosphere—the 13 tracks reflect moments of navigating doubt and consciously choosing hope anyway. It is a visual and auditory reminder that even in the darkest tunnels, light is something you can actively choose to step into.

Limited-edition giveaway gift set including a collector's CD, 2 A5 posters, and 3 photocards.

The campaign brought together around 1,000 attendees, creating a space for fans to take photos, exchange gifts, and spend time with others in the COER fandom.
